# Modification of User

This report reveals all objects changed by a user in a given span of time for a user defined set of objects. Easily a system-wide view can be chosen.

Input
Define a specific username or choose all users (*). You can define a timerange by setting the dates and sorting and grouping options for the output. The standard element of the object selector in the lower part of the report input options allows you to define the subset of analysed objects.

# Cross-System Existence Check

The Cross-System Existence Check compares the existence of a set of objects in different systems. The set of objects can be manually defined, e.g. objects of an architecture can be selected in the development system and compared against production system regarding their existence.

Input
To check the existence of objects in multiple systems the main connection has to be established to the „base“ system containing the object to search in other systems. Afterwards at least one (but up to 3) system has to be connected by using the „Logon“ buttons in this report. Those are the systems that are searched for the objects selected (based on the main system in BI Q) in the standard element of the object selector below the connect buttons.

Cross-System Object
Content Comparison

The Cross-System Object Content Comparison shows the difference of a set of objects on different systems. The set of objects can be manually defined, e.g. objects of an architecture can be selected in the development system and compared against the production system.

Input
You need to connect to an additional system that is used for comparison. You may manually define the type of comparison that is used (either by Word or HTML content comparison). Choose the MultiProviders and/or queries you would like to compare.

System differences are shown in change mode.

#Characteristic References

This report shows all characteristics that are being referenced by another characteristic.

Input
Simply select all objects you want to check for references.

Available for free download. No license required.

#Hierarchy Explorer

This report shows all characteristics having reporting hierarchies. The hierarchies are listed with their names.

Input
Simply select all characteristics you want to analyse for having reporting hierarchies.

DSO References in Transformation Routines

This report scans the code of a user defined set of transformations regarding lookups on DSOs in their start-, end- and expert routines.

Input
Simply select all transformations you want to check.

Transformation Routines Referencing a DSO

This report scans the code of all transformation start-, end- and expert routines for lookups on a user defined set of DSOs.

Input
Simply select all DSOs you want to check.

#Query Version

For the estimation of downward compatibility this report shows the version of a user defined set of queries (3.x vs 7.x).

Input
Simply select the queries you want to check.

Available for free download. No license required.

#Data Load Errors and Warnings

In a system-wide scan this report shows warnings and errors in data loads for a given span of time.

Input
Define the sorting and the timeframe used. You can choose to scan for both errors and warnings or just warnings / just errors.

#Inactive Objects

This report reveals all inactive objects for a user defined set of objects. Easily a system-wide view can be chosen.

Input
Simply choose the objects or types you want to check.

Available for free download. No license required.

#PSA Management

This report shows an estimation of the size of selected PSA tables. It also provides background information about process chains dealing with the PSA tables.

Input
Choose objects to analyse and ranges for the coloring. You can also activate additional options under "parameters“.

#Code Check

The Code Check profiles transformation routines for
potential performance issues, e.g. loops in a loop or select singles.

Input
Mark all the code checks you want to perform and select all transformations to perform the checks on.

License
Available for free download. No license required.

#Routine Finder

The Routine Inspector examines the existence of routines in a transformation. The check is performed for start-, end- and expert routines.

Input
Check what types of routines you want to find and check the relevant transformations.

#DSO Where Used

The DSO Where Used analysis is an enhanced usage reference for DataStore objects including code lookups in transformation routines as well as lookups in code of programs, function modules and class methods. Several other references are examined, like base infoprovider property of queries, usages as part provider in infosets or multiproviders, etc.

Input
Check what to search by using the „Parameters“ area. Afterwards, choose the DSOs to search for.

Average Query Runtime for InfoProvider

This report determines the average runtime of Quieries for selected InfoProviders. The result may reveal bad InfoProvider design.

Input
Check the timeframe to analyse and the objects to scan for the average runtime of their queries.

Impact of object change on BO reports

This report connects to a BO server and analyses the possible impact of object changes on the NetWeaver system on BO objects. That means the report searches the BO elements that depend directly on a selected BEx Query, a selected InfoProvider or (if selected) on a BEx Query that is defined on a selected InfoProvider (transitive dependency).

Input
Enter BO Logon information for your BO server. The logon will be done when generating the output document. In report options you can set what impacts to check. Select base objects of the impact analysis in the object selection.
